Press Release: Excommunication and women's ordination
Priesthood serves the People of God by bringing healing and hope through sacramental celebration and pastoral care. It is God’s People who must discern their leaders and it is the bishops of the Church who are called to validate this in the normal course of events.

Corpus Legacy Project

Let Your Story Be Told!
CORPUS
announces the development of a project to collect and codify the life-stories of our CORPUS family.

This endeavor is the brainchild of Cathy O'Keefe, who, along with her husband Dennis, is a CORPUS member and a committed supporter of an inclusive priesthood. The University of Notre Dame will archive these legacies, which are vitally important to creating a "sensus fidelium". We hope that future generations might want to study these stories. We can imagine, if we had thousands of personal witnesses from a millennium ago, how powerful these witnesses would have been in informing us about the impact of the original imposition of mandatory celibacy. So it will be with our stories for future generations.

The CORPUS board enthusiastically supports the Legacy Project, and invites your participation. This can take several forms, ranging from the submission of your own story, told in your own way, to the development of your story as told with the assistance of a facilitator using a variety of forms.    Please let us know that you would like to take part in this vital work by sending us your address on the form provided below.  A Legacy Project team member will contact you.
