Richard Schoenherr died at his home in Madison WI. Ordained for the Archdiocese of Detroit in 1961, Dick earned a Ph.D. in sociology of religion.  Married in 1970 to Judith Woods, and the proud father of Andrew, Maria and Joseph, Dick was best known to our CORPUS family for his definitive research into the demographic decline of the Catholic priesthood since 1965 and its segnificance for the future of the church.
