Lowell, MA, June 13, 1998

Fran Hassett, 67,  died on June 13, 1998 in Lowell, MA.  He was survived by his wife, Margaret and two stepchildren, Marleen and Stephen.  Fran was ordained for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate on December 23, 1958 for the Eastern Province and later became their Provincial.  Prior to his death, he was a prison literature teacher and outreach worker.
