Vaudreuil, Quebec, February 3, 2001

Jean Rochon, 56, was killed in a traffic accident in Vaudreuil, Quebec on
February 3, 2001 while he and his fiancee Dominique Giovannetti were driving to Montreal.  Ms. Giovannetti was not seriously injured.

Jean left the Oblates of Mary Immaculate  September, 2000 and planned to marry Dominique. Among the many ministries he held was his latest as of spiritual resources at the University of Ottawa, a position he held at the time of his death. He was a much loved and popular priest among the students he served at the university.

May he rest in peace.
