James Breau of Reading, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully, on November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A BC High School'47 graduate, he served as a priest in the Archdiocese of Boston (1955–1970), before co-owning Lee Chisolm Sporting Goods and Ski Tours in Malden. A longtime umpire, Rotarian, skier, and Marblehead Yacht Club member. He is survived by his children, Todd Breau of Los Angeles and Tara Kelley of Reading; his brother, Edward P. Breau; and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert F. Breau of London, England. Family and friends are respectfully invited to Visiting Hours at the Weir Mac Cuish Family Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, MALDEN, on Friday, November 14, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 1:00 pm.
